From past to present...

It's springtime, I can finally get out of all my long pants and long sleeve shirts. These shorts were my Daddy's when he was my age. They fit me perfectly!

Why put off today what you can put off tomorrow?

Here we are, it's the third month of 2010, and I haven't managed to update this blog at all. Sorry! So without further ado, here's what we've been doing:

Experienced snow for the first time! There wasn't much on the ground, but new is new, and I loved it...

Discovered the underside of my crib! Daddy told me not to tell Mommy about the dust bunnies...

Learned to pull myself up...

Saw my second snow. There was a lot more this time...

And I'm crawling too...

Got trapped in a box...

Learned that I like not wearing clothes...

Spent a lot of time on my feet...

Met my new cousin, Taylor Grace...

Got some teeth, learned to make a scary face, and took lots of baths...

and discovered the toilet paper roll...

And to top it off, I had my nine month doctor visit. I weigh 18 pounds and I am 29 inches long! I say da-da, ma-ma, and bye-bye. I wave, I clap my hands, and I even learned to play peek-a-boo with Mommy!

It's been a busy year so far, and as far as I can tell, it's only going to get busier. I'll do my best to keep you all updated. Bye for now!

First Christmas

I got to experience Christmas for the first time this year. What a busy time of year it is! We went to Papa Joe and Mama Lynn's house for our first Christmas celebration (can someone e-mail me some pictures?), then had Christmas at our house with Grandma Bishop and Daddy's family, and then we drove down to Georgia to see Mommy's family and have Christmas with Anma and Papa (I also need pictures from this, Daddy forgot to have fresh batteries in our camera). I think I've never seen so many different people in one week in my life!

Happy Halloween!

Well, I know it's a little late, but here are some fun pictures from my first Halloween. Mommy, Daddy, and Papa went to a football game, and Anma stayed home with me to pass out treats! I had two costumes!

During the day, I was a skeleton. Here I am hanging out with Papa.

After dark, I turned into a pumpkin!

I'm getting ready for my first Thanksgiving next. I hear there is going to be lots of food; I can't wait!

Baptism

Last week I got baptized and a whole bunch of my family showed up. We had the ceremony at my Mommy and Daddy's church (and now mine too!). I was very excited, even if they did make me wear a gown. It was my Papa's from when he got baptized, though, so I guess it's not so bad. Afterward, we went to Anma and Papa's hotel and had brunch and a party. There was even cake, but nobody would let me have any!

Here I am with our Pastor Carter, Mommy, and Daddy.

Papa, Anma, Aunt Katie, and Uncle Trey all came to my baptism.

And so did Papa Joe, Mama Lynn, Aunt Sarah, Grandma Bishop, Aunt Laura, and her boyfriend J.T.

We had such a good time at my party, here I am relaxing on the bed.

Thank you everyone for coming to share my baptism with me!

Super-funny-happy baby...

Everybody tells me I'm the happiest baby they've ever seen. Daddy tells me I'm the funniest. What do you think?

Looking for Anma on Facebook.

Me and my Aunt Katie at the softball game.

Tasting the new toy that Anma brought me from my cousin Kiersten.

Here I am at my first photo shoot!

Hanging out with Papa Joe after the Vanderbilt game.

Trying out my new hat that Mommy's friend Lizza brought me from Peru.

Maybe I'm just the happiest AND the funniest baby ever. See ya next time!

Mugging for the camera...

Here are some more fun pictures I wanted to share with everyone.

This is me with my great grandmother (my daddy's grandmother).

I like to suck my thumb, but I like to suck daddy's too.

Playing with my taggie, being totally silly.

Daddy put my taggie on my head. Don't blame me!
